Retired Teacher Owns 700+ Pairs Of Converse Sneakers

Sneaker Watch has displayed various sneaker collections over the past few months but none compare to Penny Gold's 700+ pair Converse collection. The 63 year old retired teacher states she has been collecting shoes for just over 20 years and claims she has spent over $15,000. Gold is currently in the process of become the Guinness Book of Records holder for the most Converse sneakers estimating that her 776 pair collection will surpass the current record holder of 403. In addition Gold doesn't buy outside the classic Converse brand stating that nothing else is allowed in her closet. Let us know your thoughts on the collection in the comment section.
