When Kobe Bryant first entered the NBA he wasn't wearing a Swoosh. In fact The Black Mamba was down with the three stripes and this silhouette was his first official sneaker in the league. For those unfamiliar with the adidas Top Ten 2000, look no further than images of Kobe's rookie year. The sneaker was his primary choice all season and while the silhouette never got an official Kobe nickname it is still connected with his name.
After years of anticipation adidas finally brought back the design and this "infrared" model is one of the new retro+ colorways highlighting the shoe. Those interested can find the styling today at Extra Butter.
