Before Foamposite and Cement print were all the rage, patent leather was on nearly every other shoe. Today we bring you a look at a very rare player exclusive version of the Air Griffey 1 made out of an entire patent leather base. The sneaker is stated to be designed for Griffey's appearance in the 1996 All-Star Game and never saw a widespread release.
