Nike Bans Campouts

Remember when Sneaker Watch brought you exclusive photos of the start of a what was to be a week-long campout for the Galaxy Foamposites? That was almost groundbreaking even though campouts are a part of the culture. But Nike is establishing a new way for sneaker fanatics to secure the hottest and most sought after kicks without having to miss days of work or school.
It's called "Twitter RSVP" and the way this will go down is the following:
Nike will set an RSVP Date and will begin that particular process the day of. Followers who respond with the information in which Nike is seeking will have locked in their pair once Nike's Twitter account responds. But this particular process will be for in-store releases only. Online releases will have the same guidelines and rules.
Nike has also eliminated midnight in-store releases as well as any type of pre-ordering method. This is all done to ensure the safety of the customers as things constantly get out of hand for the bigger Nike and Air Jordan releases.
