Yes today is 4/20 but no there is no "product-inspired" release this year as there normally is on this particular date. When the Skunk SB Dunk Highs dropped a few years back, everything was cool and there were no rifts from anyone. But the upcoming release of the "Cheech & Chong" Dunks last year brought along some unforseen issues and they never saw a retail release even though a few pairs snuck out anyway. But whether you celebrate this "holiday" or not, make sure you do so in fresh footwear as we see in this segment of Sneakerhead Sneaker Watch. And to acknowledge today's festivities, we get a look at the aforementioned Skunk SB's as well as the Cheech & Chong edition as well, each of which represent what today is normally about.
As for the rest of the set, it seems as though the sneaker community is prepared for the start of the NBA Playoffs as a number of Nike Basketball footwear was on display, more specifically the LeBron 9. This silhouette was seen in its many different colorways. Nike Sportswear was also heavily represented for with a ton of Air Max runners and Air Forces on hand. And you know the Air Jordan retro's can't go without mentioning.
