Sneaker Watch has already brought you a look at this special edition of the Zoom KD IV which was dubbed "Aunt Pearl" in honor of Durant's late aunt who passed away due to complications of breast cancer when Kevin was just a kid. He holds his family close to him as they attend almost every home game and this is just another wonderful gesture by Nike. We mentioned previously that apart from the obvious ties to the Kay Yow Foundation, these have a great meaning in general. They're stylish as well with its tonal pink base and pearly design on the heel which makes for a great addition. Nike Basketball has also announced the release date for these which is May 12th. So, make sure you pencil this in on your calendar.
