Nike Moves Online Releases To Mornings

Fresh of their announcement of the new RSVP system, Nike is making more changes to their shoe launches. Yesterday they announced that midnight online releases will no longer be an option as Nike Store will now launch sneakers at 8am EST / 5am PST. The new arrangement will begin as early as this weekend's Elite Series. For more information hit up @NikeStore on Twitter.

@dre...I hear you on that. It doesn't matter when they jave the time...the site will crash. I don't see how anyone gets shoes off the site for hot releases

One more thing, Nike is slick, they know that with them moving the releases to 8am, there will be more people trying to get them online and less at the stores. They know most people try online first at midnight then if they dont get em that way they hit the store that morning. If you try that now, by the time you get to the store if you dont get em online, youll be the 100th person in line and youre not getting your kicks. Nike. Cant live with em. Cant live without em...if youre a sneakerhead.

OK, I know somebody hears me on this after this past weekend trying to catch the 12's, but the TIME they release them isnt the problem, NIKE NEEDS MORE SERVERS TO HANDLE THE TRANSACTIONS. Every midnight release worth mentioning, the site crashes. They act like they dont know whats getting ready to happen!
