Exclusive: South Beach LeBron 9 NYC Campout

Tomorrow Nike will launch the follow up version of LeBron James' iconic South Beach sneaker on his ninth signature shoe. After confirmations that the sneaker will only be available in limited quantities across the globe several shoeheads wasted no time to get their beach chairs and begin their campout. As early as Tuesday May 29th, several sneakerheads were already on line at the House of Hoops 34th street New York City location. As of yesterday May 31st as many as 80 people were on line for the release. Sneaker Watch was able to capture some photos to give you an inside look at what the shoeheads brought with them for the four day wait.

oh and p.s. u say the shoe is ugly.... well thats a matter of opinion... so thats not sad... it's like your mad these people are not into what ever u like.... like if the movement of what to wear should start with what ever u say.... why the fuck should anyone look for guidance from u on what to like... i'm sure these people saw a pic of those shoes or any shoe and made up there own mind if they like the shoe or not... theres nothing wrong with that.... u also mentioned these people are poor... how the fuck do u know there poor... they can be middle class, dum ass.... any one poor cant buy anything... and this is from some one who never owned a lebron james sneaker and has never camped out for anything.... i never even been camping period !... the only thing a person can shake there head about a line of people waiting on a sneaker release is seeing some old heads on that line... and even then... i know guys 30 years plus that will make that line so there little man can have the shoes on monday fresh !!!! stop coming to sneaker websites bitching about the sneaker community and what we do !!! cuz we'll step on your face with our fresh kicks "HOMIE"
