Just like many of the bigger releases that we've had already this year, the Air Yeezy 2 will also receive its own version of the Nike Elite socks. While they probably won't be available in stores, a few pairs have found their way on eBay for the taking. One set comes in grey/platinum while the other features the black/solar red color scheme, providing you with different options for your threads. Sorry homey, as much as I am a Kanye fan for all the reasons you say he dvresees this honor. (originality, style, substance & HONESTY) I don't think the level of consistency, influence & realism that Shawn Corey Carter brought to the game can be ignored. Jay has provided us with 3 CLASSIC albums this decade (4 if you consider The Best Of Both Worlds collabo w/ R. Kelly) The 1st of these classics could be arguably his best album The Blueprint which is remarkable for the fact that he was 6 albums in. Think about that for a second. In an genre where an artist is lucky to fulfill his 3 or 5 album deal, this guy continually put great work. There's notion that you can only compare Jay to Jay. I can't get into the concerts and the product referencing and all the landmark achievements he has made because I've been to 5 Jay concerts I could go on all night. (like am now) I must say I am a little disappointed that I was unable to attend Ye's GITD tour because this dude is a fucking GENIUS! but as you sit there and think about my Jay nod make sure think about all your fav Jay albums, Jay sayings, his ifluence over the genre itself and all the artist.
