The sneaker community is coming off perhaps the biggest release of the year in the Nike Air Yeezy 2. Campouts, raffles, and hours of waiting were needed in order to secure a pair of one of the most sought after sneakers on the market. The Yeezy definitely overshadowed Jordan Brand's big weekend release of the "Military" Air Jordan 4s which makes its second appearance since 2006. Regardless, we still had to feature the Platinum/Wolf Grey 2s.
The NBA Playoffs are also making headlines as it moves into the Finals. We'll see this year's regular season MVP in LeBron James go up against this year's scoring champion in Kevin Durant in what's sure to be a promising series. It will certainly be fun for those of us in the sneaker community as those two athletes will bring out their best signature sneakers, perhaps continuing the trend of rocking PEs in the playoffs. We may actually see LeBron don his MVP 9s while Durant may lace up his "Scoring Title" joints.
