The "Playoff" edition of the Air Jordan 8 saw a retro release in December of 2007 to the joy of many sneakerheads. But that sneaker almost dropped in 2002 as we get a look at a sample version that never hit retailers. This particular pair features different shades of color on the tongue design as well as the outsole. The overall shape of the sample is different compared to the released version also.
