Yesterday Team USA Basketball held its first official practice in Las Vegas. The star studded roster featuring Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Chris Paul and more of the NBA's Elites were all decked out in red, white and blue kicks. As expected Kobe donned his "USA" Zoom Kobe 7 while LeBron opted for the new Hyperdunk 2012 as did many of the team's Nike athletes. One surprise was Kevin Durant who debuted an Olympic colorway of his Zoom KD IV which didnt launch alongside the other USA models. As Olympic play continues expect a lot more US inspired sneakers throughout the summer.

Kobe's reading sondus like it was culled from something found at a grade school — just like the height of that eight-foot hoop in the ad. Leave it to the pompous ass to compare himself to da Vinci. He can't even measure up to the Jordan mythos much less the artist's.
