So much talk has surrounded the continuation of Penny Hardaway's Air Penny sneaker line which will be receiving a 5th signature sneaker later this year. The rejuvenation of the classic series has not only been exciting for many sneakerheads, but it has also introduced a brand new silhouette in the Zoom Rookie which has been a highly impressive model to date. Several colorways have propelled that sneaker to new heights despite its relative recent appearance. More versions are on the horizon like the "Memphis Blues" edition which we feature in this segment of Sneakerhead Sneaker Watch. While these have yet to receive a release date, it's safe to say that they'll be hitting retailers in the near future along with the even newer "Matte Red" joints.
To compliment the Nike Zoom Rookies in this edition of Sneakerhead Sneaker Watch, there are a number of other Nike Basketball silhouettes that have been put on display. The likes of the LeBron 9 and Zoom Kobe VII are seen more often than not along with more from the Penny line in the forever popular Foamposites. Several Olympic-styled Air Jordan retros are also seen, signifying that those footwear fanatics who love sports are continuing to keep up with the London Games which recently kicked off.
