Derrick Rose had to pull out from participating in the Olympics this year due to an injury. Although adidas didn't get one of its sponsored athletes on Team USA they did create a USA inspired version of the new adiZero Rose 773. Intended to be Rose's "Gold Medal" sneaker the shoe features an obsidian suede upper with metallic gold accents along the heel in addition to a white midsole and a red outsole.
