Not too long ago, images of the "Galaxy" Zoom Rookie began to surface and many sneaker enthusiasts were excited about the model's new look. Fast forward about a month and the futuristic design now has a set release date. It's been announced that the "Galaxy" Zoom Rookies will be dropping on Saturday, September 28th. Expect it to be a limited release at select Nike retailers. Let us know if you will be attempting to scoop a pair.

does any body know where i would be able to get my hands on these on release date in LAS VEGAS NEVADA .? if im not mistaken i think i heard nike was not gonna get them .?

These will be $215 and will be released at nike and house of hoops from what i've heard. I don't know of any other stores that will get them. Possibly just other stores that yould really have to look for. These release on 10/19/12. The release dates are always on the Nike Store Site in the FAQs section.

For the first time ever, i was able to cop an exclusive of the pair pictured above on 9/28 from the Sole Collector Limited Edition release. Supposedly, the release on 10/19 won't have glowing pods, they will be black.
