Much talk has surrounded the rejuvenation of Penny Hardaway's footwear lineage with the addition of his 5th signature sneaker on the horizon. Nike did a great job leading up to the Air Penny 5 by introducing the Zoom Rookie in a number of awesome colorways and from what we've seen from Hardaway's upcoming editions, it's safe to say fans will be even more excited. While the sneaker community eagerly awaits more from the Air Penny lineage, we focus on one of his prior but all time classics in the black/royal Air Penny 2 which is featured in this edition of Sneakerhead Sneaker Watch.
As the summer is vastly coming to a close, sneakerheads take heed in this point in time of the year and make sure to rock their summer-friendly kicks as much as possible before it's time to store them for the fall and winter. Looking through the large gallery of images, we continue to see the trend of several Nike Sportswear footwear such as Air Max 90s, Air Max 1s, and SB Dunks, all of which have been heavily represented for this summer. Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand are also able to maintain their strong sighting as you guys have kept things in a steady rotation.
