NBA Sneaker Watch: LeBron Scores Big in Unreleased Floridians
Another week of NBA games is in the books and it was capped off by a great showing from the league's best superstars. Though we're still early in January, the All Star break will be here before we know it and that's when teams will really to start to fight for playoff positioning, meaning games are to become more exciting. It also means that us fans/sneakerheads will also be treated to new footwear sightings from the NBA's best players and we got another dose last night.
We start off with LeBron James who's once again been an extremely efficient and consistent scorer. Going up against the Washington Wizards in Miami, James put up 24 points while wearing the "Home" version of his Floridian 10's, an unreleased version that was thought to be dropping at some point. The white/pink-orange kicks stood out as LeBron torched the Wizards. Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant also brought out a Player Exclusive version of his eighth signature sneaker in Lakers form as his squad continued to struggle with a loss to the Denver Nuggets. The vibrant yellow soles on Kobe's kicks provided us with a great look at his new footwear.
Several other athletes around the league went hard with the popular footwear as well. Jordan Crawford of the Wizards donned the "Cool Grey" 11's while his teammate Cartier Martin went with the "Orlando" Penny 5's which has been a popular silhouette throughout the season. Shannon Brown of the Phoenix Suns showed off his "Stealth" Air Jordan 10's while Ty Lawson finished off the night with the Blue Diamond LeBron 10's.
