Brooklyn Nets Display Horrid Custom "Borough" Jerseys

This past Saturday, the Brooklyn Nets Twitter account posted a photo of several customized Brooklyn Nets jerseys that read the names of different neighborhoods in the borough of Brooklyn along with the area codes of the surrounding distance. The caption to the photo reads "Rep your borough on your customized #BrooklynNets jersey" which seems like a new manner in which the organization plans to gain fan interaction. But does any NBA fan want to walk around with a jersey baring three numbers on the back just to represent for their neighborhood through the Nets' organization? Years ago, the NBA began a series in which fans were allowed to have their names stitched to the back of custom NBA jerseys and it was a huge success. The Nets' attempt at copying the trend in their own rendition may not be as popular. Check out the photo above and leave us a comment about what you think of this idea by the Brooklyn Nets.
