Not too long ago, a Grade School version of the Air Jordan 8 surfaced in Laney High School colors in representation of where Michael Jordan played ball before becoming a Tar Heel at the University of North Carolina. We know the ever-popular white/blue-yellow color scheme was brought to life when it appeared on the construction of the Air Jordan 5 and seeing as though 2013 will bring back a couple classic colorways of the fifth Jordan Brand model, we highlight the Laney 5's in this #SneakerOfTheDay recap.

Sneakerheads are looking forward to what's dropping later in the year but still have time to bring out some prior releases that always impress. From the Jumpman side of things, we see Space Jam and Bred 11's, True Blue and Black/Cement 3's, and Fire Red and Olive Green 5's followed by OG white/black-red and retro Bred 13's, Cool Grey and White/Cement 4's, and finished off by a couple pairs of Jordan Spizikes. We also get a strong showing from the Foamposite family with the Carolina Blue Pros, Pine Green Pros, Royal Foamposite Ones, and Crimson Foamposite Pros. An assortment of LeBron, Kobe, and Kevin Durant kicks hold things down for the athlete signatures, finishing off another great day of sneaker sightings.
