Nike is officially taking initiative and looking into the future of their Nike Basketball designs starting with a brand new silhouette set to debut later this year in the Nike Air Flight Bonafide Flyknit. The sneaker is originally a part of Nike's celebration of '5 Decades Of Basketball' Collection and is designed by Ben Kirschner, the man behind the popular SF-AF1 design. The original inspiration behind the Nike Air Flight Bonafide Flyknit is the Nike Zoom Flight '95 a silhouette commonly worn by Jason Kidd.

Now the Swoosh has a new futuristic take on the kicks, which feature a full length Flyknit woven upper, a heel zipper to ensure a form fit, a thick and sturdy sole unit, with a multitude of metallic bubbles reminiscent of the Zoom Flight '95s, and Zoom Air units line the sole for added comfort while on court.

This particular colorway, the 'Vachetta Tan' color scheme featuring crisp white, Veg-Tan, and rose gold makeup was curated for friends and family exclusively and only 50 pairs were produced. Luckily, Nike will begin to crank out alternate colorways of the kicks in the near future but if you have to have your hands on this particular pair, a few of these joints are floating around eBay right now. With that being said, let us know your initial thoughts on the Nike Air Flight Bonafide Flyknit in the comment section below.
