Sneaker trends can often seem like they come in decades. The 70's was about suede, the 80's to early 90's saw more rigid leather proliferate, and it continues.

Today, arguably the most prevalent feature on most new runners is a knit upper. Being in the age of woven sneakers makes the NMD City Sock an easy sell on most releases, and that might not change with this United Arrows x adidas collab.

As usual with the City Sock, the upper is comprised of the brand's form fitting Primeknit material. The most notable difference between this and the standard NMD is the lack of any ankle collar. Instead, the whole shoe takes on a sort of 1-to-1 fit, giving new meaning to "true to size."
