Throughout his twenty year career, Kobe Ryant earned the title as being one of the coldest basketball players to ever hit the professional hardwood not only does that refer to his ability to put the ball in the basket but, when it came to intense practices, his spats with opposition on the court, or even proving himself to be the best player on the court during All-Star weekend, the boy was cold. Now, the Swoosh has constructed a sneaker to show just that, in the Nike Kobe AD 'Igloo'.
The sneaker features a micro-Flyknit woven base complete with exposed Flywire for stability and a suede heel panel for a sleeker aesthetic build in a minty 'Igloo' hue that isn't too hard on the eyes. The sneaker comes with contrasting black Nike and Black Mamba branding as well as a speckled midsole and outsole while the synthetic heel support system is decked out in 'Igloo'.
Ironically, the 'Igloo' Nike Kobe AD will be available for public consumption come July 1st at select Nike Basketball retailers as well as online at Nike.com for a retail price of $160. Let us know your thoughts on the new colorway in the comment section.
