Michael Jordan didn't need a huge media press conference, an arena full of fans, or a laser light show to let the public know that he was making his return to the professional hardwood. On March 18, 1995, the Jumpman released a two-word official statement announcing that he was returning to the Chicago Bulls after pursuing his childhood dream of playing professional baseball, those two words... "I'm Back."
Now, Jordan Brand is honoring Mike's iconic announcement with a sneaker known as the 'I'm Back' Air Jordan X. The kicks feature a black nubuck base complete with contrasting 'Summit White' tumbled leather overlays, matching white Jumpman embroidery hits the heel of the sneaker while the insoles of the kicks take on a 'University Red' hue. 'University Red' detailing also hits the embroidery on the pull tabs of the kicks that read 'I'm Back' and '3.18.85'. Lastly, the outsole of the sneaker list Mike's accomplishments at that moment as well.
Come March 18th, the 'I'm Back' Air Jordan X will be available for a retail price tag of $190. Let us know your thoughts on the sneaker as well if you'll be picking up a pair in the comment section below.
