Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors are staring at just seven more wins in order to solidify back-to-back NBA Championship titles after Durant's 37-point performance in game one of the Western Conference Finals. And with their high-powered offensive efficiency and unified defense putting them ahead of every other NBA organization out there

But, when it comes footwear, Kevin Durant has been critical of his Nike KD X sneaker stating that it felt more like a sock than a performance sneaker. And this season alone, Durant has missed multiple games with sore ankles and sprained both of his ankles as well which the lack of stability in his signature Nike sneakers can partially be to blame for.

Now, the Swoosh has officially unveiled the Nike Durant XI and the updated tech specs of the sneaker in order to better suit KD's needs while on the professional hardwood. The brand new sneaker features yet another Flyknit woven base complete with perforations for breathability and added lofted threading for extra cushioning while a sock-esque ankle collar provides a form-fitting wear.

A rubber cup-sole hits the heel of the sneaker for added stability, Kevin Durant's logo hits the heel of the sneaker as well as embroidered Nike branding. The kicks are then closed out with a full-length Zoom AIR unit installation with an additional layer of Nike's brand new Nike React foam cushioning as the kicks are closed out by translucent rubber outsoles.

The Nike KD XI doesn't have a concrete release date as of yet but the sneaker is set to drop this fall. With that said, let us know if you're feeling Kevin Durant's latest signature Nike sneaker in the comments.
