The support along backlash to Nike featuring Colin Kaepernick as a new face of their has been large and widespread. Now, a report from Edison Trends surfaced noting that Nike’s online sales have gone up 31% in the past Sunday through Tuesday.

The company issued a statement where they pointed out many thought sales would drop because of Kaepernick’s inclusion in the campaign. Nike said “There was speculation that the Nike/Kaepernick campaign would lead to a drop in sales but the data does not support that theory.”

Because of their inclusion of Kaepernick and the support it received, Donald Trump called out the company via Twitter.
