Jordan Brand x Converse Celebratory Pack

Michael Jordan didn't always have a classic Nike or Air Jordan signature to rock while on the court. During his UNC Tar Heel days, young Mike laced up Converse footwear and during the 1982 NCAA National Championship game, Jordan hit the game-winner against powerhouse Georgetown University in a pair of classic Converse Pro Leathers.

And to celebrate the 30th anniversary of that point in Mike's college career, Jordan Brand x Converse have gotten together to create 30 celebratory packs which feature an autographed Michael Jordan UNC jersey and an autographed pair of Converse Pro Leathers. Seven of the packs were given to friends and family of Jordan while the other twenty-three are being auctioned off on eBay with the proceeds going to the James R. Jordan (Mike's late father) Foundation. The Converses are all Jordan size 13s and the jerseys are size 40. Check out images of the pack and head over to eBay to check out the auctions.

these are alright, but just like Mcflys, Jordan 23's UNC, you can't respect them. They certainly aren't a collection piece because some are GIVEN the shoe(anything given is not collecting, just like Terrence from 106 and other showing shoes saying look at my collection-NO MF- you was given the shoe) and the fact that these are not made available to everybody. Foot Locker has shoes just released in Foot Locker, but anybody can go to any Foot Locker and have chance to get them. I am a sneaker head that works for my money and spend my own money on COLLECTING sneakers. Can't respect sneakers that are not made available to everybody and/or count sneakers in somebody possession as a collection. These are going to be in hands of jerk-off, non-sneakerheads trying to gouge the price on real sneaker heads. #Sneakerhead-thats-mad-at-the-b.s.-that-should-not-be-part-of-the-game
