1997 San Antonio Spurs 20-62

The San Antonio Spurs were on of the teams that dominated the 2000s as Tim Duncan was able to lead them to four championships. Back in the mid 90s, however, the Big Fundamental was only a rookie and even though they had other pieces to go to, they still managed to have terrible seasons. Their worst came in 96-97 when they posted just 20 wins.

Well Tim Duncan didn't play for the '96-'97 Spurs. They actually lost games so they could get a high draft pick which happened to be Duncan at #1.
