adidas Not Releasing JS Roundhouse "Handcuff"

SneakerWatch reported on Monday that one of the upcoming releases from Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals sparked much controversy because of the sneaker's main features. The JS Roundhouse "Handcuff" was set to drop this August. But because of the actual handcuff feature, adidas caught a lot of heat from a number of news sites. MSNBC even ran a story on them, making a comparison to times of slavery. Well known civil rights activist Jesse Jackson even labeled the kicks as “appalling and insensitive.” In statement given, adidas said "we apologize if people are offended by the design.” Were you offended by the design of this sneaker and upset that it's not releasing at this point?

i aint black first off. but a shackle represents imprisonment. so many people have had to wear shackles in the past. not just black people. this is absurd.
