As you know by now the "Raptor" Air Jordan 7 is due back out this September and it has quickly risen as one of the most anticipated Jordans of the fall. Last week SneakerWatch brought you an exclusive detailed look at the 2012 retro model offering in-depth photos of the upcoming rerelease. As the shoe prepares for its third relaunch in the past decade SneakerWatch dug into the stash to bring out the past two versions of the sneaker to see what changes Jordan had made.

To our surprise the 2012 model matches up fairly close to its predecessors but we still found a number of new changes. The main difference is the quality of suede used on the shoe. Unlike the 2002 and the 2010, the 2012 version offers a smoother more nubuck like style as opposed to the rougher quality on the other two shoes. Another slight change is the shape of the shoe. Over the past decade you can see how Jordan Brand opted to give the silhouette a bulkier shape. Check out the full comparison look and let us know what you like and dislike about the new 2012 model.
