Nike Air Foamposite Pro "Dr. Doom" Sample

In 2006 Nike launched a special collection inspired by the characters of the Fantastic Four. The limited edition five sneaker pack offered models related to their respective characters and as expected the Dr. Doom Foamposites would become one of the most notorious. Now six years after its release, images of an early sample design have hit the net courtesy of Xclusivesole. The early mock-up of the shoe features slight differences compared to the launch model and arguably a better design. Unlike the release version the sample offers a white leather eyelet strip as opposed to a black while additional inverted colored Swooshes make up the rest of the changes. Unfortunately we doubt Nike would go back and re-do these but it's safe to say that these "what-ifs" would have been something special.
