Each NBA All Star Weekend, many fans look forward to the high-flying athletes who will be participating in the beloved Dunk Contest. In recent years, however, this particular event has lost its flare as many feel it's not as exciting as it used to be in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. That could have all changed a few years ago if LeBron James would've made true with his proclamation that he would participate in the Dunk Contest. He backed out of the contest last minute, leaving many fans confused and disappointed. He also left the sneaker community feeling the same way because if he had decided to follow through with it, this pair of Air Max LeBron 7 PEs would have been what he was to wear that night. This No-Flywire, speckled air unit version features a blue/white design that matched the Eastern Conference All Stars jerseys and would have been a great look for LeBron soaring through the air.
