Since the early 90's Nike has been at the forfront of basketball sneakers. Signature lines such as the Barkley, Jordan, Pippen and Penny were what started it all but current models such as the LeBron, Kobe and Durant are leading it for the new generation. As we continue our rundown of the 20 most innovative designs in the Nike Basketball line the Air Force 180 finds itself at number 5. The built tough and stylish silhouette has moved from a top choice hoop shoe to an off the court head turner. Although no longer at the top of the performance latter its relevancy twenty years since its creation proves how incredible of a design it is.
